On the road back to
Greenwich station
He smiles to greet them;
The shoulder-mounted toddler
High-fives his giant hand.
[TWO]
In the grounds of the
Old Royal Naval College
They smile for photos;
Their shoulder-mounted rifles
Brush the toddler’s hair.
