Jen Erica Thor

Jen was born in South Yorkshire to surprised parents and attended the local independent girls school, Barnsley Ladies College (formerly Barnsley College of Mining). After leaving school, she spent many years annoying people intensely before concluding that she had what it takes to be a writer.

She is the author one small unpublished book of poems, My Corduroy Love, dedicated to Kevin Sponge, her old geography teacher, and one unpublished novel, Terminal Moraine, in which the power of love to metaphorically move mountains is contrasted with a glacier’s ability to literally do likewise.

Jen currently works in local government, but hopes one day to travel the world and meet people, particularly Kevin Sponge, who she believes is currently somewhere in Central America. Some of her other writing can be found on her blog, www.madhatlady.com, along with several photos of her cats and one of Kevin Sponge wearing a poncho.
