This month’s photo was sent in by Jane Parker of N7, who asks if these two chaps on Great Smith Street are up to what she thinks.

Well, Jane – no. The work in fact shows pilot Ralph Broome and brakeman Tom Arnold of the UK’s silver-medal-winning bobsleigh team at the 1924 Winter Olympics stepping into the bath together for a brisk soap down after a slick bit of slippery action on the back slope. Which isn’t what you said, though obviously not too dissimilar.
