Steve Lake

Steve Lake arrived in London in 1988 to continue a family tradition of being sacked from Foyles bookshop. Twenty-six years later he has moved from cutting-edge Stoke Newington to blunt-edged Hanwell, acquired a wife and two children and had a lifelong attachment to Ipswich Town sorely tested by the “proper football” on show at Brentford’s Griffin Park. When not otherwise engaged he attempts to license travel photography to people who don’t have enough money to pay for it.
